Corrections Policy

WattCostLab aims to correct meaningful factual, formula and source errors promptly.

What should be corrected

• Incorrect equations, units or conversions.
• Incorrectly transcribed source values.
• Broken or misleading source attribution.
• Statements that materially misrepresent a technology, tariff or dataset.
• Outdated defaults that substantially change calculator interpretation.

Minor edits

Spelling, formatting and non-material wording changes may be corrected without a formal note.

Material corrections

When a correction materially changes a calculation or conclusion, the affected page should be updated and the revision date changed.
